EB Metaltec
Overview
Full UI/UX redesign for a German precision metal fabrication company — creating a bilingual, conversion-focused design that speaks directly to industrial procurement teams across Europe.
Problem
EB Metaltec's existing site lacked technical credibility signals critical for B2B manufacturing buyers — no material specifications, no tolerance data, no capability showcase. Generic visual design failed to communicate precision and quality. A single-language German experience cut off international procurement teams entirely. With no RFQ flow, no project portfolio structure, and poor information hierarchy, high-intent buyers couldn't evaluate capabilities quickly — resulting in missed enquiries despite world-class fabrication expertise and 100,000+ parts delivered annually.

Solution
Conducted full UX audit and mapped buyer journeys for three industrial personas — procurement managers, mechanical engineers, and project managers. Designed a bilingual DE/EN design system in Figma — responsive across all breakpoints — with an industrial-dark visual language, scroll-triggered animations, and hover interactions prototyped before handoff. Restructured information architecture surfaced technical specifications, material capabilities, and tolerance data within one click. Delivered pixel-perfect component library and developer handoff package ensuring precise implementation throughout.
